late night procrastination

i've figured something out about my diaryland posting habits. i post the most when i'm working into the wee hours with a deadline rapidly approaching. i've found myself checking my buddy list Very Frequently tonight (ooh, it's been 3 minutes since i've last checked, maybe someone else has posted, allowing me to rationalize my continued procrastination). inconsiderately, y'all aren't posting in the middle of the night. the nerve! i have nothing to distract myself with! [except, of course, posting my *own* entries, so that at lease SOMETHING will appear in red when i check my buddy list. though i must embarrassingly admit that i'm always surprised and disappointed to discover that it's only *me* who's just updated.]

anyway, the last time i did this post-all-night thing was back in august (8/8) when i posted 10x one day (check the archives. i don't wanna link 'em). then, i was writing my major area exam rewrite.
