15th annual cuny

that would be the cuny (city university of new york) conference on human sentence processing (everytime i see the full name of the conference i wonder about 'human.' like we have to distinguish it from the cuny conference on martian sentence processing?) so, i'm in new york, wearing 'conference clothes' (what, to the rest of the world, would be considered approximately business casual. but my normal business (i.e. work) wear is jeans. and a shirt, of course) and eating yummy food, like sushi.

i will not blather on about how i love sushi. just insert your own ode to sushi here: ____

i was very much looking forward to my friend jan's guest sheets. coupla years ago she bought nice macy's sheets for guests, and lemmetellYOU they are soft. much nicer than any sheets i've ever slept on before, for sure. but, sadly, she did not put them on the futon. sigh.

okay, that's all. i gotta go hear some more talks.
