blooming: clematis and rhododendrons

not seeing tonight: da vinci code. i want to see it, but hells not on opening night.

recently received: belated wedding gift from a--- and b---- of home brew beer (a pilsner style and a pale ale) and two pint glasses, one of which says "stop here for great beer" and one that says "who needs a non-fat decaf latte?"

tomorrow i'm leaving for columbus, ga, to see my grandma, on what will almost certainly be my last trip on delta as a non-rev standby passenger. my bennies run out when my dad retires at the end of june. boo.
