ugh.

yesterday, after 12 hours of vomiting and diarrhea--every 30-40 minutes--karl and i went to the hospital. after an hour or two in the waiting room they hooked us up with IVs and i spent the next 5 hours sleeping in the hallway. eventually they shot us up with some anti-nausea meds (which was totally weird--i could feel the fluid shooting up my arm, then i could taste it in my mouth) and let us sleep a while longer. finally, when we could give them a urine sample and we kept down some cracker and cranberry juice, they let us leave. we'd arrived at the hospital at 3:30, and left at 10pm.

today, we are tired and sore (all that vomiting), but feel better.
