scordatura quartet

i'm part of a newly formed quartet called scordatura (quick, oddcellist: do you know what that obscure musical term means?). we've got our first gig on thursday, playing for the grad dept of education's fall picnic. half hour of playing (we'll be (practically sightreading) some easy mozart something-or-other since we haven't actually managed to get our acts together enough to have a rehearsal yet this year. urg.), $62.50 each. check it out! my time is apparently worth $125/hour! someone should tell the psych department.....
