the cable company was supposed to come to karl's house this morning to hook him up (after unceremoniously unhooking the entire building from their free illegal cable after they discovered an "irregularity" in the way the line to the building was connected). but he gets a call this morning telling him that they can't come and hook him up because he's only three years old. and you have to be at least 18 to order cable service. turns out they are assuming (because they're morons) that because his social security card was issued in 1999, he was born in 1999. apparently, they've never heard of immigration.

okay, that seems to be all the amusing stuff i've encountered in the last couple of days. sorry. that's my life.
