in the interest of making the net what it's supposed to be, a maze of completely useless but often interesting information, i present to you this list of intriguing links.

first and foremost, if you haven't seen the sumo kitty then you need to go right now. this is a quicktime link, but you can probably find all kinds of other presentations by doing a google search on "why sumo is better than karate." these cats are brilliant. someone should give them a sitcom.

i'm not sure about the view, and i think that the "braincoats" are a LEETLE bit big-brotherish, but how cool is this building? dating in the cloud building: hey your coat is red! MY coat is red! i think i love you!

mail-a-meal--an idea whose time had not, as far as i can tell, come. though for some reason the idea of being able to send someone a roast beef dinner is strangely appealing. i also quite enjoy the way the site asks you "is this the Food you would like to send?"
