i'm just blissing over that first sip of iced coffee, before the cup even begins to sweat, taken just outside the dunk1n d0nuts in our building, in the 95� heat that feels great after the overly air-conditioned building.

jersey girl

just finished running a subject for my production experiment (only 2 to go!) and OH MY GOD was this girl from jersey. i mean, there's a lot of girls (and guys) from jersey at penn, what with it being close by and all. and don't get me wrong, i love me some jersey accent as much as the next linguist. this jersey girl's accent was KICKIN: "oauffer the boaull to the hoase" and "pouah some wouattah."

oy, did she make me want to go down the shore.
