on weetabix's recommendation, i have ordered a sample of The Soap. The Soap is so special that it comes with instructions. i know i know, it's *soap*. but apparently, it's special. updates to follow, i'm sure.

meanwhile, the car is, you guessed it, still broken. wayne keeps having it and trying stuff and not fixing it. at this point, it doesn't drive farther than 10 blocks before crapping out. damn car. i'm thinking of taking it to another place, but it's located in a completely different part of the city that is more than 10 blocks from my house, so probably i'll just have to have it towed there. i have AAA, so they will helpfully come and tow it for me, but i'm loathe to use my last tow (have you heard about this racket? you only get 4 AAA service calls per year! i've used 3 already, so towing it to another garage will be the end of it) which is why i haven't done it already. bleh.

am dog-sitting for a couple weeks in early march for friends. dog is a golden lab puppy, about 5 months old. she is being trained in swedish, so i guess i'll have to learn a few commands. however, she is rumored to be well-behaved, so i'm looking forward to taking her to the barn with me, where i can get to because the dog-sitting responsibilities also come with car-sitting privileges. whoo!
